I am Reed, and I trawl through the beautiful woods of the various places and things this world has to offer, fishing for the finest bits of timber.
I am Asiman K. Panda, an Electrical Engineer turned Tech. Product Manager, who was bitten by the travel bug in 2011. Before I became a travel enthusiast, I was a wanderer, looking for quirks in Nature. At the side, I also dabbled in writing, especially short stories and poetry. While I love my home state Odisha profusely, I believe one or a few of my past lives were spent in Rajasthan, and an even earlier life was probably spent in a Harappan settlement. Which is why you will see offbeat places featuring quite a bit in my writings.
While I am a wanderer-writer, my alter-ego, Reed, is now a full-fledged flâneur, and together we are the The Timber Trawler, and these are the stories of our trawling.
